Hey folks - I've enabled DSAR in trial for everybody that has expressed interest (above), and has the basic privacy management capabilities in Vanta (that is currently included in the GDPR or US Data Privacy frameworks). Since DSAR will be included in the Advanced Privacy package, you need to have the basic privacy functionality in order for me to enable it in trial. That means that: Esmeralda O. , Kasey C., Nick D. I have not yet enabled this for you. I will need to provision you a trial of the basic privacy functionality first, which I will need your account team to help me with. Please bear with me! But everybody else, you should have access to the trial. Please let me know any feedback you have! We can extend the trial for a bit beyond GA to give you plenty of time to play with it, but we'll need to remove the trial within a few weeks after GA (unless you have the Advanced Privacy package, which includes DSAR).

That does seem time consuming. When you talk about that "amalgam", it sounds like (correct me if I'm misunderstanding) you have multiple processing activities where you are the processor, and you want a single thing to describe how you act as a controller over all of that data? So it's like a one-to-many mapping. This is interesting, indeed. 😄

Right now you can add information about joint controllers to a processing activity, but I honestly don't think that we have a lot of customers who actually have joint controller relationships, or at least document them.

Hey Jeff W. - sorry for the delay - we have some areas in the "data you control" side for joint controller information. Is there something more that you would want or different? Do you want activities that you are a joint controller for to be displayed or managed separately?
