Hey Linda! I'm going to loop in Diego Z.Greg B.Bhavi G. and Rob G. here to see if any of them have a POV to share. (if not, thats ok too, folks! saw some prior chatter from you on ISO 42001 so thats reason for including you here).
Anyone else beyond that, if you see this and want to jump in, please feel free!
I'm seeing them more often lately since my clients are typically AI SaaS companies, so their vendors have a high percentage of AI tools/services in their stack.
Linda B. - I am seeing the interest grow too. I think ISO 42001 will become more common in vendor reviews over the coming months, and I assume we may start seeing more AIUC-1 certifications as well (though they serve different purposes). It will be pretty interesting to see how quickly this picks up!
I'm seeing more of them, specifically for vendors with an AI-heavy product line (like someone else mentioned). However, I think we'll see these become much more common once the EU AI Act starts being enforced.
We're pursuing ours and I'll say that the documentation is substantially more than I anticipated which led me to extend our timeline rather than have it diminish actual engineering work.
