You can now set custom renewal dates for your documents (individually or in bulk) so everything aligns with your actual audit schedule.
Because if a problem isn't being solved, what good is it?
Until now, document renewal dates were locked to when you uploaded files and your recurrence settings. This meant scattered renewal dates (yikes!), painful workarounds (ouch!), inaccurate metrics (oof!).
Let's look at an example scenario
You have a SOC 2 audit scheduled for October 2026. Your policies, procedures, and evidence documents need to be reviewed and renewed before the audit. But some renewed in January, others in April, and a few in July, all based on when they were last uploaded, not when your audit actually happens.
Before: You either let everything expire until October (making your dashboard look bad—yikes!) or manually track and reactivate documents one by one (manual anything is never fun)
After: Set all documents to renew on September 30, 2026 in bulk, so everything is fresh for your October audit.
