Audit prep just got a whole lot less painful
Mapping audit requests to controls used to mean extra steps after upload. Not anymore.
When you upload your Information Request List (IRL), you can now map requests directly to controls in the same flow. Just add a Control IDs column, and Vanta handles the matching automatically.
A few things worth knowing:
If a Control ID doesn't look right, we'll flag it and hand you a list of valid ones so you can fix and re-upload without guessing
You can still tweak mappings manually after upload if something needs adjusting
Auditors can now add one-off requests using your framework's default controls straight from your view
