Historical Policies Now Available in Information Request Lists What's new: You can now attach historical policy versions as evidence in your Information Request Lists (IRLs). No more being stuck with only the most recent version. Why this matters: If you're managing audits with longer time periods (like annual SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits), auditors often request multiple versions of a policy to see how it evolved over the audit period. Previously, Vanta only let you attach the current version, which meant manually digging up old versions from your file system and uploading them separately (yikes! no fun). Now when you add a policy as evidence in an IRL, a side drawer opens showing all historical versions with the ability to attach individual docs or entire policy containers. This streamlines evidence collection and gives auditors exactly what they need without the manual busywork.
