More Precise Inherent Risk Scoring Now Available with Configurable Factors in Vanta Advanced Risk Management

See below for plan availability. --- More precise inherent risk scoring by factor When too many risks receive the same score, it becomes difficult to know what needs attention first. A single Impact × Likelihood rating can also make it hard to reflect mature methodologies or communicate the specific business impact of a risk. Vanta now lets you break Impact and Likelihood into individual factors and score each one separately. You can configure factors for each risk register, such as Threat and Vulnerability for Likelihood, or Financial, Operational, Legal and Regulatory, Reputational, and Strategic impact. Factor scores can roll up using an average, sum, or maximum calculation, including decimal precision. The full breakdown is visible on the risk detail page, in the auditor view, and in CSV exports.
