Policy management tools are now available on Vanta MCP
You can now manage policy workflows through the Vanta MCP server, with the same capabilities available in Vanta Agent.
MCP can now:
Read policy content, metadata, status, and version history
Review policy-to-control mappings
Create policies with suggested control mappings
Create policy-control mappings
Check policy coverage and approval status
Compare policy changes over time
For example, you can ask MCP to import a policy and map it to relevant controls, identify policies that still need approval, or summarize what changed since your last audit. All tools include permission checks to help ensure actions are appropriately authorized.
