New Feature: Record and View Reasons When Deactivating Controls in Vanta (Rollout by July)
Deactivating a control? Now you can explain yourself.
Note: This is a very gradual rollout and will be available across the board by end of July.
When deactivating a control in Vanta, you can now record exactly why (out of scope, compensating control, whatever the reason) and it sticks to the control.
What's new:
Add a reason from the single-control modal or bulk deactivation flow
View reasons in the new Deactivation Reason column on the deactivated controls page
Reasons persist in control history, even after a control is reactivated
Nothing better than some smooth documentation and transparency, amiright???
