Ya the framework itself is great but once we started looking into it we realized it's a huge financial endeavor. Sort of takes on the HITRUST financial model which imo is a racket. 75-100K / year to the AIUC team and then another 75-100K /annually to the auditor (Schellman, Coalfire, or A-LIGN), haven't seen any other smaller audit firms get accredited for it yet. This doesn't count the 5K or whatever you pay to Vanta for adding in AIUC-1 + the time it takes your internal team to get through readiness
TLDR easily clears 6 figures all in on annual basis. We could afford it but decided that the juice wasn't worth the costly squeeze
