First of all, shoutout to Community member Rob G. for flagging to us that this update came and went but didn't see something announced about it. So we did something about that! Thank you Rob for keeping us honest and highlighting such an impactful update to Vanta Agent. 
What's new:
You can now upload images and PDFs directly to Vanta Agent conversations using the paperclip icon in the chat input
Why this matters:
Previously, you had to copy and paste content from documents, which meant:
Lost formatting and context
Manual effort to extract text from images or PDFs
Difficulty sharing complex diagrams, screenshots, or multi-page documents
Now, just attach the file and let the Agent read it for you. Example use cases:
Upload a screenshot of an error message for troubleshooting
Share a vendor security questionnaire PDF to get help with responses
Attach a diagram of your architecture to get compliance guidance
Upload a policy document to ask questions about specific requirements
