Launchpad is a cohort-based onboarding program for small teams that want a clear, structured path to getting compliant quickly in Vanta.
Each new cohort starts the first Monday of every month. If you join Vanta in the second half of the month, we'll add you following month's cohort.
Once you sign up, we'll email you an invitation to the Vanta Community on Slack. Accept the invite to join your private cohort channel 💌 You'll find your next steps for getting started there!
Where can I learn more about Launchpad?
Check out this video this video for a short overview of the program.
Why startups love Launchpad
⚡Async-first, minimal meetings: Structured weekly guidance you can move through on your own schedule, without adding unnecessary calls.
🤖 AI-enabled onboarding support: Leverage Vanta's newest AI capabilities, including 1-shot policy creation, to reduce manual work and accelerate setup.
💬 Delivered in Slack: Embedded directly into your existing workflows, so progress happens where your team already works.
🤝 Learn with other teams: A chance to compare notes, share what's working, and learn from other startups as you move through onboarding together.
Heyo! My boss is convinced we need to create screenshot evidence of adding new staff to Google Calendar meetings, Google Groups, and various accounts like Jira. I'm working on automating this with our HRIS and convincing the org to pay for enterprise licenses so we can use SAML with JIT to handle this for us, but until then would Vanta not be enough evidence for an external auditor? I really only have experience with internal audit teams where I can just go ask them if a proposed change is acceptable, so I don't understand the process here outside of just doing both and waiting for our next audit to confirm. Thanks!
Trust Center: block access requests by country
Keeping certain locations out of your Trust Center documents no longer means maintaining a list of email domains. Admins can now choose countries to block, and access requests from those locations are blocked automatically. This is now generally available.
To set it up: Settings > Customer trust > Trust Center > Blocked countries
What to know:
The country block takes priority over auto-approval rules, so an allowlisted domain requesting from a blocked country is still blocked
It covers access requests only. Publicly viewable content stays visible, and access already granted to existing viewers isn’t revoked
--- Availability: Trust Center customers
68 (!!) more MCP tools, now open to non-admins
No admin badge required. 68 additional MCP tools are now available to non-admins and the agents they connect, so more of your team can pull answers and take action from the AI tools they already use.
Each tool follows the permissions of the person who’s connected, so everyone sees and does only what their role allows.
See thread for list of updated capabilities 🧵

Manage audits without leaving the Vanta Agent
Two audit chores you can now hand to the Vanta Agent, or to any tool connected through Vanta’s MCP.
Modify audit dates. Update an existing audit’s dates in conversation. Changes are checked against audit date eligibility rules and your permissions, anything you don’t change stays as it was, and you get clear feedback if an update can’t go through.
Delete audits. Remove an audit right from your agent workflow instead of switching to manual steps.

Your Trust Center FAQs, now one question away
The Vanta Agent can now answer questions about the FAQs published on your Trust Center, and so can any tool connected through Vanta’s MCP. Skip the manual hunt through the product and ask in plain language instead.

Availability: Across all plans / customers who are using Trust Center and have AI activated in Vanta
Ask Vanta Agent how your people, accounts, and computers are trending
Reporting on your workforce no longer means stitching together numbers from different pages. Ask the Vanta Agent in plain language, and it answers from your Accounts, People, and Computers data, then summarizes what the data shows in the same conversation.
Try asking:
“How have employee task statuses changed over time?”
“What’s the trend in our computer pass rate?”
“How have account counts by resource type changed?”
You’ll spot issues sooner and show up to stakeholder updates with the numbers ready. 🎥 demo!
Activity Log tab for Tests: see how a test has behaved over time
A test is more than its status today.
The new Activity Log tab shows a chronological record of what happened to it, when it happened, and who or what made the change, whether a person or an agent.
Events cover test runs, ownership changes, audit scope, comments, tasks, controls, custom tests, and remediation. Filter and page through them to investigate an issue, back up an audit conversation, or show that monitoring is working.
More control over evidence collection in IRL audits
Admins now decide how Vanta handles evidence and request status in IRL audits, so your audit workflow matches how your team works.
What's new:
Automatic evidence attachment: turn it on to have Vanta attach eligible evidence to audit requests for you.
Choose where completed requests go: send them to Internal review so your team can check them first, or move them straight to Ready for audit.
Vanta moves each request once it meets the requirements for the status you picked.
--- Availability: Customers with the Advanced Risk Management module using Vanta's IRL audit experience.
